Teatro Regio Torino welcomes the new production of Halévy’s La Juive directed by Stefano Poda, who has created sets, costumes, lighting and choreography. This new production will transpose the experience of opera into an opportunity to open reflection on universal issues, transcending the geographies and time period of the original story. The opera was last performed in 1885. A century and a half later, the staging of this work is therefore something of an historic event, which will be conducted by Daniel Oren.
