On the occasion of the opening concert of the Trasimeno Music Festival on 29 June in the Basilica Superiore di San Francesco d’Assisi, Christian Senn and Diego Godoy perform Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle. Matthew Halls takes the helm of il Coro Sinfonico di Milano Giuseppe Verdi.
Raffaella Milanesi sings the title role of Monteverdi’s last opera L’Incoronazione di Poppea arranged by Ernst Krenek at the St. Gallen Theatre. The conductor is Corinna Niemeyer and the stage director Alexander Nerlich.
