With Zubin Mehta conducting the Choir and the Orchestra of Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Valentino Buzza appears as the tenor soloist in Mozart’s Coronation Mass, K. 317 which is part of the traditional Easter concert held at the Duomo di Orvieto. Recorded on 22 March, the concert will be broadcast by Rai Cultura on Rai 1 on Good Friday at 0:40 and in rerun on Rai 5 the following day at 19:35.

These days, three Allegorica Opera Management Artists have been recording for the label Château de Versailles Spectacles: a project for Three Countertenors with Filippo Mineccia (joining him are Samuel Mariño and Valer Sabadus) and Vivaldi’s La Senna festeggiante featuring Diego Fasolis at the head of the Orchestre de l’Opéra Royal de Versailles and Luigi De Donato in the title role.
Marie appears in the extraordinary contemporary reworking of Pelléas et Mélisande by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Damien Jalet and Marina Abramović with the conduction entrusted to Jonathan Nott.
All performances having been cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic, the premiere on 18 January had been streamed live from the Grand Théâtre de Genève and is now available for on-demand viewing on OperaVision and on Radio Television Suisse.

Sadly enough, all the December dates of Il Palazzo incantato by Luigi Rossi at Opéra de Dijon with the conduction of Leonardo García Alarcón had to be cancelled following the latest sanitary measures. However, we will have the pleasure to see Arianna Vendittelli headlining Fabrice Murgia’s new staging on the Opera’s website, on the same days and at the same time slot!
