Mozart singer of the first order for having brought to life the roles of Papageno, Figaro and Conte Almaviva at Wiener Staatsoper, Opernhaus Zürich, Theater Basel, Teatro La Fenice, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Teatro Regio Torino…

Thomas is also a much sought-after concert and oratorio singer: he performed Haydn’s Die Schöpfung under Riccardo Muti in Ravenna Festival, Bach’s Cantatas alongside Daniele Gatti at Teatro del Maggio and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 and Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem both under the knowing hand of Antonio Pappano.

Renowned for his compelling performances of German Lieder, Tatzl appeared at Teatro alla Scala with Schubert’s Winterreise he subsequently presented for the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris.
