Welcome on board NICO DARMANIN

ALLEGORICA Opera Management is delighted to welcome Maltese tenor Nico Darmanin to its roster for general management!
After making his debuts at the Royal Opera House under Antonio Pappano in the Olivier award-winning production of Verdi’s Vêpres siciliennes, he has subsequently established himself as a leading exponent of bel canto repertoire and is particularly admired for his thrilling interpretations of Rossini with appearances including Don Ramiro, Rodrigo, Le Comte Ory, Count Almaviva… in theatres and festivals such as Teatro Regio Torino, Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, The Grange Festival, Opéra de Nancy, Teatru Manoel Valletta…
Further exploring the French Romantic repertoire, he has taken the stage as Nadir in Bizet’s Pêcheurs de perles for Opera North and has performed the title role in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette for the Estonian National Opera.
Nico will soon make his Théâtre des Champs-Elysées debut with a concert and a recording of Louise Bertin’s Fausto alongside Christophe Rousset and his Talens Lyriques.
