GIUSEPPINA BRIDELLI – Opera Award for Best Complete Opera Recording

Lully’s Atys, conducted by Leonardo García Alarcón for Château de Versailles Spectacles, has won the Opera Award for Best Complete Opera Recording.

Giuseppina Bridelli delivers in this recording a celebrated portrayal of Cybèle, described by Opéra Magazine as “d’une puissance dramatique implacable”.

Looking ahead, Atys will return to the Opéra Royal de Versailles in January 2026, again under the baton of Leonardo García Alarcón, with Giuseppina Bridelli reprising her role and joined by Luigi De Donato as Le Fleuve Sangar.
