ALESSANDRO DE MARCHI (Conductor) – Musicae Antiquae Collegium Varsoviense

Alessandro De Marchi has been appointed Music Director of Musicae Antiquae Collegium Varsoviense (MACV), the period-instrument orchestra of the Warsaw Chamber Opera, beginning with the 2026/27 artistic season.

A passionate advocate for the rediscovery of lesser-known operatic works, De Marchi has also enjoyed a long-standing association with early music. Alessandro De Marchi will officially open his tenure with the 65th Anniversary Gala of the Warsaw Chamber Opera, on 13 September 2026 at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, featuring Lucie Horsch, Serena Farnocchi and Uwe Stickert.
