ALEXANDRE BALDO (Bass-Baritone) – Album “Unusual Suspects” release

Alexandre Baldo unveils Unusual Suspects, a new album dedicated to the fascinating and often dark characters portrayed by Baroque bass roles in operas by Handel, Vivaldi, Caldara, Porpora, Fux and other composers.
Joined by the ensemble Mozaïque, Alexandre Baldo explores the virtuosity, theatrical flair and emotional depth of this colourful repertoire.

The album will be released on 20 November 2026 on Aparté.

The programme will also be presented live on four occasions:
25 Nov. 2026 – Saint-Valery-en-Caux (Normandy)
27 Nov. 2026 – Salle Cortot, Paris
28 Nov. 2026 – Albert Roussel Auditorium, Tourcoing (Atelier Lyrique season)
29 Nov. 2026 – Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church, Sceaux
