Cyril Auvity at Teater an der Wien to sing Tespis/Mercure


In 2014 we shall be celebrating the 250th anniversary of the death of one of the greatest French composers of the Baroque period, Jean-Philippe Rameau (1683-1764). Cyril Auvity is very happy to sing Tespis and Mercure in a new production by Roberta Carsen.

New production of Teater an der Wien in co-production with Opera-comique

Jean-Philippe Rameau’s ballet bouffon in one prologue and three acts (1745) ‘

Platée’ will be staged at the Theater an der Wien.
